Students may attend speech therapy for a variety of reasons. Some things that we target in speech language therapy include:
- Articulation: Production of speech sounds to improve a child's ability to be understood.
- Language: Expressive (speaking) and receptive (understanding) language skills including "wh" questions, syntax, vocabulary, pragmatics, and many other language areas.
- Fluency: Learning to ‘smooth out’ their speech in problems such as stuttering.
